5STAR eCorridors EDIH raises the level of digitalization by offering services in all key areas of EDIH: 


Test before invest area includes awareness raising and digital maturity assessment, services in AI, digital transformation expertise (consultation, team and company competence and capability building, and innovation services), development support (open RDI programs), and test and prototyping facilities are offered for technology, market and field tests. The planned services include Jaakonmeri test area, Cyber test lab, 5G test network, AR/VR lab, 3D printing and simulation labs, Applied Research Platform for Autonomous systems (ARPA), Peppol and Blockchain platforms, border crossing platform, and living labs in context with CEF funded FEDeRATED project.

Skills and training include training in AI/ML, digital skills, data sharing and digitalization in logistics as educational and as in-service education. The cyber side includes training services ranging from cyber security strategy to studies for establishing and maintaining digital trust. Services that target to future proof companies are also included. These include foresight workshops and innovation model re-design services. Domain expertise in sea/truck/air/rail transportation and logistics domains are also available.

Support to find investment services help companies with know-how related to financing opportunities (I.e. connecting SMEs to private equity and growth investment actors) and connecting SMEs to RDI funding (e.g. regional opportunities, Business Finland, and EU) by offering project and consortium building and project coordination. Examples of this are the Sea4Value program and CaaS Nordic orchestration projects. 

Innovation ecosystem and networking services include seminars and other networking events tailored to meet the needs of customers. Services benefit from the EDIH’s wide innovation ecosystem and wide international networks. One Sea and CaaS Nordic ecosystems have also networking and innovation functions consisting of 100+ companies (mostly SMEs), Advisory Boards consisting of representatives of various industries, authorities, and academia in Finland and abroad. These networks are used for identifying research resources, competence, funding etc.
