EDIH’s main application domains are One Sea and CaaS Nordic ecosystems. In One Sea, globally leading maritime and ICT companies are driving for an autonomous, digital, and sustainable maritime transport system. One Sea was established in 2016 and it has operated as DIH since 2017.
CaaS Nordic is developing a multimodal “Corridor as a Service” concept: a digital hub for supply chains and freight for more efficient logistics services for international and regional businesses. Aim of CaaS Nordic association is to connect different ecosystems, which together are able to develop next generation digital solutions for logistics. The CaaS concept was established in 2018 in Finland.
